Manager Taxation & Compliance

To effectively manage the tax affairs of the company and maintain excellent relationship with the relevant tax

authorities

1. Manage Corporate Taxes and Direct & Indirect Taxes

2. Work closely with Tanzanian Regulatory bodies in order to eliminate punitive taxes

3. Engaged Employees

· Timely advice on tax implications of proposed transactions,

services and new legislation as it affect Airtel Tanzania

· Overall direction on annual tax budget and quarterly tax

forecast.

· Co-ordination of response to queries from Tanzania Revenue

Authority on tax audit.

· Handle correspondences with the Group Tax on Airtel

Tanzania Tax matters

· Co-ordination of preparation and filing of all Tax returns filed

with both the TRA and other local authorities for compliance

purposes

· Review of Airtel Tanzania contractual agreements for tax

compliance purposes

· Co-ordination of month end management reports on tax

matters.
